Privacy Policy
AutoMarketer.com · Effective as of launch
What we are and what this covers
AutoMarketer ("we," "us," "our") operates AutoMarketer.com and the AutoMarketer application. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what control you have over it. We wrote this in plain language on purpose.
Data we read from your website
When you submit a URL (in the demo or after signing up), AutoMarketer fetches your public web pages to build your Brand Profile. We read publicly available page content: text, headings, product descriptions, and structured metadata. We do not read pages behind authentication and we do not read or store any data about your website's visitors or customers.
We store the Brand Profile we build from your website (the summary of your business, tone, value props, and keyword strategy) because that is the foundation of every marketing asset we generate for you. You can delete your Brand Profile and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
Account and billing data
When you create an account we collect your email address. If you subscribe, billing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe stores it; we store only a reference token and your subscription status.
We send transactional emails (email verification codes, receipts, autopilot run summaries) via our own mail infrastructure. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails. You can opt out of run-summary emails in your account settings.
Channel connections
Marking a channel as connected only records that label in your dashboard. AutoMarketer does not sign in to Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Advertising, social platforms, an ESP or a CMS on your behalf, holds no access or refresh tokens for them, and posts nothing to them. Assets are written here and exported by you into whichever tool you already use.
AutoMarketer generates your marketing; it does not publish or send it, and it does not connect to your channel accounts to do so. We therefore request no publishing permissions and read no ad spend history. A connection you record on the Connections page notes which account a channel is meant for; you can remove it at any time.
Generated assets and marketing content
Every blog post, ad, social caption, and email that AutoMarketer generates for you belongs to you. We store it in your account so your autopilot can learn from it over time. If you close your account, we delete all generated content within 30 days of account closure. You can also delete individual assets or your entire account's content at any time.
Usage and analytics
We log product usage events (pages visited, demo runs, assets generated, autopilot cycles) to understand how the product is used and to enforce per-plan asset limits. We associate these with your account ID, not your email, in our internal analytics tables. Anonymous demo sessions are tracked by a session ID stored in a first-party cookie.
We may use privacy-respecting session analytics (scroll depth, click patterns) to improve the interface. These tools do not receive personally identifiable information beyond what is standard for browser-based analytics (IP address, browser type, approximate location).
Third-party services we use
- Google Gemini API - We send your Brand Profile data and channel instructions to Gemini to generate marketing assets. We use a commercial API governed by Google's data use policies for enterprise customers. We do not send any end-user personal data to Gemini.
- Stripe - Billing. Processes and stores your payment method. Governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
- Your browser - Exports (CSV, HTML, Markdown) are generated on request and streamed straight to you. AutoMarketer does not keep a copy of the exported file.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and do not re-subscribe within 90 days, we delete your account and all associated data. You can request immediate deletion by emailing app@automarketer.com. We process deletion requests within 14 business days.
Cookies
We use first-party session cookies for authentication and demo-session tracking. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies. No advertising pixels or third-party tracking cookies are placed on the marketing site unless you opt in.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email app@automarketer.com or use the data controls in your account settings. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to object to certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will email you at the address on your account at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of AutoMarketer after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
